The film follows the family live at home and during Noa’s travels around the world. The film follows the family live at home and during Noa’s travels around the world. Through intimate observations, we delve deeply into the emotional bonds between the family members, where love, expectations, and ambitions all come together.
Noa Wildschut is 16 jaar oud en wordt al beschouwd als één van de grootste viooltalenten van ons land. Ze trad meerdere malen op, o.a. in het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam maar ook in andere concertzalen in binnen- en buitenland, op festivals en voor radio en Tv.
Noa is erg close met haar zusje Avigal, die zelf ook goed altviool speelt, maar haar ambitie op andere terreinen heeft. Samen met hun ouders Arjan (altviolist in het Radio Filharmonisch Orkest) en Liora (een bekende vioolpedagoog) vormen ze een hecht gezin.
‘A Family Quartet’ volgde het muzikale gezin meer dan 2 jaar en laat zien wat het uitzonderlijke talent van Noa met zich mee brengt. Tegelijkertijd is het een coming of age film, over 2 bijzondere meisjes in de puberteit, die hun eigen weg in het leven zoeken.
